Private Estate Wedding: Adam & Leah | A Vintage Summer Garden Wedding

From the moment I drove on to Leah’s family’s private estate and took in the stunning surrounding trees, lush grass and wide open green space that would host their intimate garden wedding, I knew this was going to be one wedding I would never forget. And I was right. From the way Leah’s family loved on one another so effortlessly, to the way Adam’s sisters jumped in to do Leah’s hair and makeup, to the way their home bustled with so many loved ones as they prepared to celebrate the marriage of two incredibly special people…

Every moment was perfect.

Leah wore her mother’s vintage wedding dress, and the intricate lace details and silk covered buttons felt like they were made for Leah herself. Adam’s blue suit was tailored perfectly and gave a modern edge to their perfectly simple garden wedding.

Wedding guests made their way down the garden path to take seats in perfect white chairs, and just after the ceremony started, a cloud moved in to provide relief from the hot sun. As Leah and Adam exchanged vows, a summer storm began to blow in, but the first drops didn’t fall until after we had finished the last family photos and wedding party photos.

Adam and Leah sneaked away for a few final photos at sunset just as the clouds began to churn, providing us with a stunning backdrop. The distant lightning failed to steal the show as they embraced and kissed.
